Procedure Preparation Instructions
Preparation for EGD requires an empty stomach. You must be fasting prior to the procedure, and some further instructions regarding blood thinners and having a ride. Preparation for a colonoscopy involves a restricted diet, drinking the prep with the goal of clearing the colon, fasting prior to the procedure, and some further instructions regarding blood thinners and having a ride.
