Technology for Patients

At the Endoscopy Center of the North Shore, we utilize several advanced technologies to help care for and communicate with patients. For example, we may use ambient listening to help take notes–and keep your doctor from burying their face in a laptop throughout your whole visit. We also use AI to help detect polyps during colonoscopy to facilitate removal. Don’t worry through, these are not those features that makes things more complicated or widens the gap of understanding between doctor and patient. Quite the contrary, this example helps to allow us to put complex ideas into an easy to understand visual format. Take a look!
