Increase in Young Colon Cancer in US Also Seen in Other High-Income Countries

The increase in colorectal cancer cases among people under 50 seen in the United States is also occurring in other countries, according to a recent study. Nine of the 43 countries analyzed showed a decrease in CRC cases among those older than 50, like the US, but an increase in younger adults.
